One-off Workshops
Sheramics studio is located in Terrigal NSW, situated 250m from iconic Terrigal Beach surrounded by trendy cafes & bars.
Sheramics offers a variety of pottery workshops including hand building and wheel throwing designed to steal you away from the stress of everyday life.
Each workshop is 2 hours and groups are kept small. Below are the projects I offer.
We take a fun, relaxed approach to the world of ceramics allowing the most inexperienced person to create unique home wares and food-safe tableware.
Unless specified, prices include all materials, equipment, & firings.
Class size caters for a maximum group of 12 people for hand building and wheel throwing.
We are going to have lots of fun!

FAB SLABÂ WORKSHOP

In this workshop, you learn basic slab & slump techniques to create a serving set- cheeseboard and dip dishes. Each piece allows you to try different stenciling and stamping techniques.

MARBLE MEDLEY WORKSHOP

In this workshop, we focus on staining white clay with colour and working it in different ways to create interesting marbled surfaces. You will make a medley of home wares including serving slab & nesting bowls​.​​​

WHEEL TRY THIS! WORKSHOP
$165
For those with zero experience on the wheel, come and get your hands dirty in this taster class! I can't promise you Patrick Swayze, but you will learn how to take a ball of clay to throw and trim several vessels including cups, bowls and planters. It's unlikely you'll master the wheel in this short time, but it will be a fun experience. ​

GLAZING & SURFACE DECORATION WORKSHOP
$40
Want a twist to the popular 'paint & sip' style art workshop? Well this is the pottery class for you! Customise your very own ceramic pieces. Using food safe underglazes, you will paint your design resulting in a completely unique and functional tableware. Templates will be provided so don't panic if you don't consider yourself creative.

Guided pottery class, all glazes and firings.

EXTRA COST-
Choice of bare ceramic pieces ranging in price from $15- $50. Check numbered photo before making a selection. $40 fee will automatically be included in the total cost once you've made your selection.
Extra bare pieces will be available to purchase on the day if you finish early.

CHRISTMAS DECORATION WORKSHOP
$95 (20% off at checkout)
A special workshop in time for the silly season. You will make your very own Christmasy handmade ceramics including tree decorations and gift tags. You'll also be given a bare ceramic mug to personalise by hand painting your designs with food-safe glazes; a unique, functional piece to enjoy yourself or to put under the tree for a loved one. This is a fun class for all ages.

CLAY SOIREE WORKSHOP
Sheramics comes to you.
Do you have an occasion -birthday, hen's night, kid's party, team-building event- and you would like a project-based gathering? Why not consider a Clay Soiree at your home or workplace?
If you have a minimum group of 10, Sheramics will come to you for $185pp. Pick a date and get in touch to discuss project options and space requirements. Price includes all equipment needs, glazes, firings AND the return of fired work to the host. Nothing for you to do except provide the location and nibbles. How fantastic is that?

DESTINATION WORKSHOPS- SPRING SERIES
Sheramics on location
Get your hands dirty with a fun and immersive pottery workshop. All students working clay and feel extremely accomplished after leaving. Class sizes are kept small in order to ensure each participant gets enough attention from the instructor. With a relaxed approached, a Sheramics workshop is also a great way to mingle and meet other clay curious folks in the Central Coast, NSW community.
