Sheramics collections use Australian earthenware sourced locally from the Central Coast NSW. I use only food-safe glazes and firing is at 1080c making pieces durable for everyday use.
Each item I make is individually hand built so they all have their own organic, one-of-a-kind character. This is the beauty of handmade! Please understand that I make pieces to order so what you purchase may vary slightly from the version photographed.
Whilst I glaze my work all over so they are durable, I still think handmade items deserve a little extra TLC to extend their life. Hand washing with mild detergent is recommended.
All prices on the Sheramics website are in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice.
I currently accept automated orders within Australia only. Please get in contact if you are an international customer to discuss freight options.
I take special care in packing and sending your purchase to you safely and as quickly as possible.
Please note postage is an additional charge to the retail price. A flat rate of $16 is charged within Australia for parcels up to 5kgs and $35 for parcels up to 10kgs. Please email for freight costing for large orders over 10kgs.
I make pieces to order. I use Australia Post and as soon as full payment has been received, items will be made and ready to be packaged and shipped within 4-6 weeks. All orders are tracked and require a signature on delivery.
If you live locally, studio pick-up is available. Contact me to arrange a collection date.
Please ensure the delivery address provided is correct. Sheramics is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address which you have provided to me.
SECURITY & PRIVACY
For your security my store uses PayPal for all its transactions. PayPal is highly secure and uses industry-leading technology to keep your information safe. Sheramics does not store your credit card details.
No need to have a PayPal account to use your credit card with PayPal.
RETURN OR EXCHANGE
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of my pottery, I do not accept returns. Having said that, please contact me if you are unhappy with your order.
I take great care in packaging your purchase, but in the event an item arrives to you broken, please contact me within 2 days with an image of your damaged purchase and I will arrange a replacement.
CUSTOM ORDERS & WHOLESALE
I do not take wholesale or custom orders this year. Sheramics is a one-woman show and a part-time endeavour at the moment.
Full payment is required to secure a spot at workshops.
Prior to 48hrs of workshop date, fee of $130 will be transferred to a future class if circumstances change and you are not able to attend your booked class. After that, you forfeit your fee of $130. Please notify Sheramics ASAP if you need to cancel, so your spot can be offered to someone on the waiting list.
Clients will be emailed when work is ready to collect. This is usually around 3-5 weeks of the workshop date depending on the weather temperatures a the time.
Kiln gods can sometimes be cruel. Whilst all care is taken to ensure all pieces are wedged and glazed carefully under my supervision, sometimes pieces can crack or misglaze in the firing process. Sheramics does not take responsibility for any breakages to workshop pieces.
During Covid19 isolation, no-contact drop off & collect DIY packages is restricted to Terrigal and local areas. Please message before ordering to ensure delivery can be made to your suburb.
Packages will be delivered within 3 business days. This service is free of charge.
